Angela Donaldson, CFM
Owner & Agent
As a third-generation insurance professional and owner of Angela Donaldson Agency, Angela Donaldson is passionate about helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most. With a strong commitment to education, resilience, and community impact, she believes that understanding your risks and options is the first step toward making confident, informed decisions.
Angela has spent more than two decades building the family agency alongside her parents, Kevin and Laurie Hauglie, helping establish it as a trusted resource in the Snoqualmie Valley community. Under their leadership, the agency earned Farmers Insurance’s prestigious Presidents Council award ten times. Angela has also received multiple Championship and Toppers awards in recognition of her performance as a producer. She is one of only ten insurance agents nationwide to hold the Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) designation, reflecting her specialized knowledge of flood risk and natural hazard mitigation.
Beyond serving clients, Angela is a dedicated educator and community advocate who regularly speaks to real estate professionals, lenders, community organizations, commissions, and chambers of commerce. She leads educational workshops on risk management, natural hazard preparedness, financial planning, and insurance literacy, empowering people to make informed choices about their future. As a certified AARP Safe Driving Instructor, she also helps drivers improve their road safety and protect their assets.
For Angela, insurance is about more than policies and coverage. It is about building relationships, sharing knowledge, and helping people feel prepared for whatever life brings. Through her leadership and community involvement, she continues to bring Valley Insurance’s commitment to protecting, educating, and empowering every client and neighbor she serves to life.
Elizabeth Gildersleeve, M.Ed., ANFI
Senior Mentor Agent
With nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Elizabeth Gildersleeve is a trusted member of the Angela Donaldson Agency and a familiar face to generations of Valley families. Her career with Farmers Insurance began shortly after graduating from the University of Puget Sound, when her father invited her to join his agency. When he later retired for the second time, Elizabeth continued serving clients with the Kevin Hauglie Agency before carrying that family legacy forward with the next generation at the Angela Donaldson Agency.
Elizabeth is passionate about helping clients understand their insurance and believes that education is an important part of building a resilient community. She brings patience, attention to detail, and extensive experience to every account, particularly when navigating complex policies and underwriting challenges. She has continued to expand her knowledge through an M.Ed., ANFI designation, and ongoing education in insurance and risk management, allowing her to provide thoughtful guidance as clients make decisions about protecting what matters most.
Community service has always been an important part of Elizabeth’s life. A member of a longtime Valley family that has called the area home since 1943, she has a deep appreciation for the community’s history and people. She serves on nonprofit boards, supports the Angel Tag program benefiting residents at senior living and care facilities, and chairs the Collections Committee for the Snoqualmie Valley Historical Museum. She is also an active leader in the Daughters of the American Revolution, where her passion for genealogy allows her to help preserve the stories and heritage of generations past.
For Elizabeth, serving clients is about more than providing insurance guidance. It is about sharing knowledge, building lasting relationships, and helping individuals and families feel prepared to protect what matters most. Through her work and community involvement, she continues the legacy of service, education, and connection that has been part of her family and the Valley for generations.

Greg Banks
Commercial Insurance Specialist
A lifelong Washington resident, Greg Banks has spent more than four decades helping individuals, families, and business owners protect what they have built. After graduating from the University of Washington in 1985 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a focus on finance and marketing, Greg began his career with Farmers Insurance. What started as a career became a lifelong passion for helping people understand their risks and making informed decisions about protecting their futures.
Greg owned and operated his own Farmers Insurance agency for 40 years before joining forces with the Angela Donaldson Agency in 2025. Today, he continues to serve many of the clients he has built relationships with over the years while sharing knowledge, resources, and a long-standing friendship with the Donaldson family. Greg and Angela’s father, a former owner of the agency, began their Farmers careers just a year apart. Over the decades, their professional relationship grew into a close friendship, with their families sharing many Farmers achievement conventions, award banquets, and years of memories together.
While Greg has experience across all lines of insurance, his particular focus has always been business and life insurance. He has worked with owners and operators across a wide range of industries, helping them identify potential exposures and develop protection strategies tailored to their businesses. When a risk requires coverage outside of the standard marketplace, Greg draws on his extensive network of insurance carriers and markets to help clients explore additional options.
Greg believes that good insurance guidance starts with understanding the person, family, or business behind the policy. His decades of experience allow him to bring perspective and practical knowledge to complex insurance decisions, while his long-standing relationships with clients remain at the heart of how he serves.
Outside of the agency, family is Greg’s greatest source of joy. He married his high school sweetheart in 1984, and they have two married children and two grandchildren, with another hopefully on the way. The entire family enjoys camping and skiing, and Greg especially enjoys seeing those traditions continue across three generations. Whether on the slopes or around a campsite, he values the time spent together and the memories they continue to make.
After more than 40 years in the insurance industry, Greg remains passionate about the work he does and the people he serves. Joining Valley Insurance allows him to continue those relationships while becoming part of a new chapter built on the same values of protecting, educating, and empowering the community.
